This weekend Loaded.CoD will be joining 45 other teams in Enschede, Holland at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 (CIC7) tournament. Loaded is the only North American team attending the event and will battle it out against the best the world has to offer, including powerhouse teams like Power Gaming, Team Dignitas and H2K. We will be providing coverage live from the event, including videos, pictures and all the happenings! In addition to the Call of Duty 4 tournament, CIC7 is also hosting tournaments for Enemy Territory and QuakeLive.

Here is the breakdown of the groups. Loaded is in Group G.

Group G action starts Friday at 2:45pm CST / 3:45pm EST with Loaded taking on Power Gaming for the first match of the group stage. Both teams are expected to advance from group play, so this match will likely determine which team advances with the top seed from Group G.

Keith "kZu" Hullenaar commented on the group, "I think the groups are done really well. I can't be happier to be placed in a group with a great team like Power Gaming. We come here to play good players and get some great competition; I'm glad we can play such a solid team off the bat in groups! We are looking to win our group without a loss and try to have a high rounds for/against ratio in order to get a good standing in the actual tournament. I believe this first step is very possible for us to accomplish and I can't wait to play a great European team."

The schedule for Loaded's group play breaks down like this:

Friday 2:45pm CST               Loaded vs Power Gaming

Friday 3:30pm CST              Loaded vs PLAGA

Friday 4:15pm CST               Loaded vs MCA

Saturday 8:30am CST          Loaded vs MouseFX

Saturday 9:15am CST         Loaded vs GFO Gaming

Remember the top 2 teams from each group, 16 total teams, will advance from group play to the bracket stage where they will play best of 3 format matches to determine the champion! Round 1 of the playoffs takes place Saturday, and the additional rounds including championship rounds will play Sunday.
